On Sunday, September 7th, an important parish event will take place - FOLK PICNIC WITH ROASTED PIG AND DANCE! - to which we invite all of our parishioners, friends and supporters. I remind you that this yearly fun event is the premier fundraiser for the parish, so we hope that you will reserve the date in advance and join us. There will be attractions and surprises for both kids and grownups, delicious dishes and snacks, good music, and a warm family atmosphere. Those who attended the picnic last year know what an enjoyable experience it was for one and all. We also want the picnic to reflect our national heritage in a warm and folksy way, so the wearing of folk and regional costumes and other elements such as scarves, T-shirts, and hats will be welcome and will certainly add color to the entire event. If anyone would like to make a donation towards the picnic expenses, look for the envelopes for this purpose on the tables at the back of the church. As always, the proceeds from this annual fundraiser will be used to pay parish expenses and fund parish projects. Please open your hearts and join us for this worthwhile cause.
