Our Church
We welcome to our church where over 100 years of tradition continues to be an important force within our Catholic community
“There are great temples; real works of art which we tour with the direction of a guide.
There are large and small temples. They are either charming or built with perfectly bad taste.
There are temporary temples; barracks erected because the church is just being built. That’s as if Jesus waited long for his dwelling. However; every temple is a place for us to meet God.
Of course one can meet God not just in the temple, everywhere.
But the church is a consecrated place; given up entirely to God. Here we are in the presence of Eucharistic Jesus, not only tête-à-tête with God but also in unity with all of His people.
Jesus prayed under the open sky, in the mountains, in the Garden of Olives, but he cried predicting the destruction of the Jerusalem temple. We can pray anywhere, but a church is a dwelling of Eucharistic Jesus and our unity. In church we receive insight that our belief is not only our private experience...”

Our Parish community welcomes everyone. We hope our handicap- accessible elevator on Henry Place will help everyone to worship with us. We invite all new parishioners to register as members of our parish family.
